Faint aurora

Finally got around to post this nightscape from Lapland, Finland. Moonlight is shining on the trees and snow, creating a wonderful atmosphere in the middle of the night. In the sky are some clouds and – if you look very closely – you can see very faint auroras as well.

This type of scenery is my favorite winter landscape. Whenever I see some snow covered trees, I first ‘fall in love’ with the landscape and then I start to think of a good way to capture them.
